DYN EVENTS ("we", "our", "us") operates the intelligent ticketing platform at dynticket.com. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our platform as an event organiser or as a ticket holder (guest).
1. Information We Collect
From Event Organisers
- Name, email address, and password (account registration)
- Event details: title, description, venue, date, time, ticket types
- Payment information processed via Razorpay (we do not store card details)
- Uploaded files: ticket background images, event logos
From Ticket Holders / Guests
- Full name, email address, and phone number (entered during ticket registration)
- Government-issued identity proof (uploaded image or PDF for KYC verification)
- Check-in timestamp and gate information (recorded at event entry)
Automatically Collected Data
- IP address, browser type, and device information
- Pages visited and time spent on the platform
- Cookies and session data (for authentication and security)
2. How We Use Your Information
- To create and manage organiser accounts and events
- To issue, validate, and scan QR-based tickets at event entry
- To process payments for event activation via Razorpay
- To allow event organisers to view guest registration data for their events
- To prevent fraud, misuse, or unauthorised access
- To send transactional emails (account alerts, payment receipts)
- To comply with legal obligations
3. Sharing of Information
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We share data only in the following cases:
- Event Organisers: Guest registration data (name, email, phone, ID proof) is made available exclusively to the organiser of the event the guest registered for.
- Razorpay: Payment information is shared with Razorpay Financial Services Pvt. Ltd. for payment processing. Razorpay's privacy policy governs their use of this data.
- Legal compliance: We may disclose information if required by law, court order, or government authority.
4. Data Storage and Security
- All data is stored on secured servers in India.
- Passwords are hashed using bcrypt and never stored in plain text.
- Identity proof files are stored in a private, non-publicly-guessable path.
- HTTPS (TLS) encryption is enforced on all connections.
- We implement access controls to ensure data is accessible only to authorised personnel.
5. Data Retention
We retain organiser account data for as long as the account is active. Guest registration data is retained for the duration of the event and up to 2 years thereafter for dispute resolution purposes. You may request deletion by contacting us.
6. Your Rights
Subject to applicable law, you have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Request correction of inaccurate data
- Request deletion of your data (subject to legal retention requirements)
- Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent

We use session cookies strictly necessary for authentication. We do not use third-party tracking or advertising cookies. You can disable cookies in your browser settings; however, this will prevent you from logging in.

9. Children's Privacy
Our platform is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us personal data, contact us and we will delete it.
